New Members Appointed to CLCDC Board of Directors

Sarnia, ON - Lisa Cechetto is the newest Board Member of the County of Lambton Community Development Corporation (CLDC).

The Executive Director of WORLDiscoveries was appointed to be Western University's institutional representative on the Board, following the resignation of Mark Daley late last month. WORLDiscoveries is the business development arm of London's extensive research network and the bridge between local invention and global industry.

Cechetto has approximately 15 years of experience in both industry and academia and obtained her Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Guelph. She earned her Masters of Science from McMaster University and also graduated at the top of her class from a dual degree executive MBA program at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and Sungkyunkwan University.

The CLCDC Board of Directors has also recently welcomed Tom Strifler to a Board position. Strifler retired earlier this year after serving as the Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park's Executive Director for four years.
