Western Discovery Park is one of Canada’s leading science & technology parks and is the original park in the Western Research Parks program that includes Western Advanced Manufacturing Park and Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park. Established in 1989, this 46-acre campus is located adjacent to Western University and includes four campus-style, detached facilities with over 200,000 square feet of office, lab, and industrial-grade space. Home to a broad range of tenants such as national government laboratories, multi-national industrial research centres, and some of Canada’s fastest growing emerging companies, Western Discovery Park remains dedicated to helping scale tenant businesses, supporting research commercialization, and assisting in local economic development.

Convergence Centre

999 Collip Circle, London ON, N6G0J3 The Convergence Centre, a 55,000 square foot LEED® GOLD (2012) building, is one of the first and most advanced multi-tenant ‘green buildings’ in southwestern Ontario. From material science, manufacturing, digital media and not-for-profits, the Convergence Centre brings people, businesses, and ideas together in a welcoming environment while providing the opportunity for collaboration and improved access to nearby research facilities and expertise.

StillerCentre

700 Collip Circle, London ON, N6G 4X8The Stiller Centre has established itself as one of Canada’s leading technology incubators, generating synergy by bringing together minds in research, engineering, health, materials, and environmental sectors. The 45,000 square foot facility, launched in 2002, is designed for start-up technology-based companies with a primary focus on commercializing wet-science based ventures. The Stiller Centre is also home to the Convergence Lab program, a fully equipped laboratory with flexible rental options that allows young companies to immediately be in business. Available at subsidized rates for use by entrepreneurial science-based start-ups looking to do proof-of-principle work and small companies in need of temporary laboratory services, this laboratory occupies over 1,600 square feet with benches and desk space that can support four to six activities simultaneously.

NRC Centre

800 Collip Circle, London ON, N6G 4X8The NRC Centre, opened in 1999, includes 78,000 square feet of general-purpose office, wet & dry lab, and industrial-grade space. This facility is home to a broad range of tenants including one of Western Research Parks’ oldest tenants, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) since 1997, as well as Western Continuing Studies, the continuing education department of Western University.

Mogenson Centre

100 Collip Circle, London ON, N6G 4X8 Built in 1989, the 50,000 square foot Mogenson Centre is the first building at Western Discovery Park and in the Western Research Parks program. Originally built to house spin-off companies that developed out of Western University, this facility has remained at full occupancy since its inception. Today, it is home to a number of tenants in the life sciences, tech transfer, and technology industries including WORLDiscoveries, the business development arm of Western University.
