"Research Bridges" Event to be Held June 6

Sarnia, ON – Graduate students from Western University's Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department will be at the Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park next week. Students will be showcasing various research projects at the fifth annual Research Bridges - Graduate Student Symposium, Friday, June 6.

Presentations will highlight future industrial and commercial applications of research projects and will be evaluated by a panel of judges from the community. The goal of the event is for students to understand and bridge the connections that strengthen collaborative research between industry and academia.

In total, 12 presentations are scheduled in the Fluidization & Particle Technology, Energy & Nanomaterials, and Biotechnology & Environment categories. Presentations are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with awards to be handed out at 2:15 p.m.
