"Research Bridges" Event to be Held July 9

Sarnia, ON - The Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park will be hosting graduate students from Western University's Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department this week. The sixth annual Research Bridges - Graduate Student Symposium will take place at the Park Thursday, July 9.

Presentations will highlight future industrial and commercial applications of research projects and will be evaluated by a panel of judges from the community. The goal of the event is for students to understand and bridge the connections that strengthen collaborative research between industry and academia.

12 presentations will be given in the Fluidization & Particle Technology, Energy & Water, and Biotechnology & Environment categories. Presentations are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. with awards to be handed out at 2:15 p.m.
